Wanderlust and a Profound Reverence for Nature are in Karen Oxrider’s DNA.
Rev. Dr. Karen Oxrider’s passion is outdoor adventure and immersing herself in diverse cultures. Her deep curiosity drives her to connect with people, discover new places, and witness inspiring acts of kindness.
She finds both her true center and her true north when she’s on exciting adventures. Peace envelopes her, whether she’s watching the breathtaking beauty of sunrises and sunsets, trekking through majestic mountains and villages, or meditating in her serene garden.
Karen loves lacing up her hiking boots and experiencing the richness of diverse cultures. Her inquiring mind and explorations allow her to bathe in the feeling of discovery when she is both inspired and humbled by an overwhelming sense of how small she feels in the enormity of the world. Or as she puts it, “It’s then that I’m reminded I am but a tiny part of a vast and interconnected universe, and at the same time an integral part of something much greater than myself.”
After a successful management career, and driven by her passion to uplift others, Karen pursued her inner calling and became a New Thought minister. Karen received a doctorate in consciousness studies from Emerson Theological Institute and is Assistant Minister at Global Truth Center Los Angeles.
Karen finds joy (and inspiration) in living life in Southern CA with her husband, Brad, of 29 years.
